Summary
SNCTFY does not sell personal information, serve advertising, use analytics SDKs, or send prayer, reflection, recording, Bible-reading, or contact data to Others Oriented. Core practice and the bundled Bible work offline.
Information stored on your devices
When you use optional features, SNCTFY may store the following locally on your iPhone and, where applicable, your paired Apple Watch:
- practice preferences, schedules, and completion history;
- private prayer requests and written reflections;
- voice prayer or reflection recordings;
- people you deliberately add to your Care Circle and the limited contact details needed for actions you choose;
- Bible reading position, narration preferences, and formation progress.
This information is used only to provide the app’s features on your devices. SNCTFY does not require an account and does not operate a server that receives this information.
Device permissions
Microphone
Used only after you choose to record a private prayer or reflection. Recordings remain local until you explicitly export or share them.
Contacts
Used only when you choose one or more people for your private Care Circle. Contact selection, recipient lists, and message personalization stay on your device. SNCTFY does not upload or silently message contacts.
Notifications
Used only when you enable local practice directions. Notification text is intentionally generic. Scheduled reminders can be disabled or deleted.
Speech and audio
Used for spoken practice guidance, Scripture narration, and optional on-device transcription where available.
Sharing and handoff
SNCTFY may open Apple-provided sharing, Messages, Phone, or contact interfaces after you choose an action. For a group message, SNCTFY opens one personalized draft at a time. You review and confirm every message, call, export, or share. Those services are governed by Apple’s and the recipient service’s privacy terms.
Website
This website is informational and does not require an account or accept prayer or reflection content. Basic infrastructure logs may be processed by the hosting provider for security and reliable delivery. We do not use them to create advertising profiles.
Retention and deletion
You control locally stored information. Individual recordings can be removed, and the app includes an option to export readable data and delete all local SNCTFY data, preferences, recordings, contacts, history, and scheduled reminders.
Children
SNCTFY is a general-audience spiritual formation app. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children or anyone else through the app.
Changes
If SNCTFY’s practices materially change, this policy will be updated before the change is introduced. The effective date above identifies the current version.
